1. Why the mix-up of music, art and modeling?

Zigned realizes that everyone knows at least someone in one of these industries who are forced to get a second job or another way to support themselves that distracts from their passion. We firmly believe that your talent should be your main & only focus. We want to eliminate split titles such as: Model/Waitress, Musician/Bartender, Artist/Barista. Your talents are beautiful and you should be able to focus solely on them.

2. What is the best PayPal account to use if I’m a Musician?

PayPal Micro Payments account this is specifically designed for digital sales. The rates are lower than any transaction rate out there for payments $12 and below. Click the PayPal link to start your Micro Payments account!

3. How do I upload my music digitally and post it for sale?

Go to your account, from the menu click on "Submit Items" next click on Upload Music. First you'll need to create an album, then after the album is created upload your songs make sure to set the pricing. Once you have uploaded all the songs you want on the album, go to "Manage Items" (located on your menu)click on "Manage Music" and now click the "Sell My Music" link. This will ask you how many songs you'd like to list, and then direct you to PayPal for paymet.

4. How does my payout for advertisement & donation sharing work?

Zigned will share 50% of our profits with anyone who has a PayPal account. Once you sign up on Zigned you become our partners, we will assess the payout amount at the end of each month and pay on the 15th of the next month. Example: April’s shared payout will be assessed at the end of April and you will be paid May 15th.

Payout Structure:

The top 50 accounts with the most activity will receive a higher prorated payout, after the top 50 we will split the remaining balance with everyone else with a PayPal account. *Hint, the more activity you have on your profile, the more $$ in your pocket. Here are some ways to increase your activity: Invite friends to Zigned, log on each day, blog, make widgets or link other social networking site profiles to your Zigned profile.

5. The 15th of the month has passed and I didn’t receive my payout share, what’s the deal?

To qualify for the share program you will have to have reached a minimum of $20.00. Not to worry your money is still intact once you reach the minimum you will be paid.

6. What kind of merchant account do I need for Zigned.com in order to sell?

PayPal, if you don’t already have an account click on the PayPal link. Here you can start a free Premier account or Business account. Start a Premier account if you are an individual, start a Business account if you are represented under a group or business name.

7. Can I post my art or prints for sale directly from my profile?

Yes, once you have your PayPal account go to "My Account" then go to Z-Store Panel. Click Sell New Item, from there it will walk you through the uploading steps, to sell on you profile make sure the box in the upper left hand corner of the page is checked!

8. I’m a musician but I don’t have anything recorded, can I still sign up?

Absolutely! We have many tools in place for musicians and others to improve your financial stature so in the future you can record and put your music online if you choose. Zigned.com provides features such as linking with bands to gig together, starting your own donation fund from your band page, enrolling in our share program, posting FREE ads on Zign Street, using our state-of-the-art Zigned Gig Reservation among many more!!!

9. Do I have to share my personal donations?

No, your personal donations that are set up from your profile are yours for the taking. The shared donations are from users on the site that believe in Zigned’s concept to help aspiring artists achieve whatever goals they strive for.

10. I’ve listed my art on other art websites, why don’t you charge commissions or listing fees?

The art was your creation, not ours, nor anyone else for that matter. Our reward is that you share the beauty of your creation with us and others. If you feel you have been bitten by the guilty bug you are more than welcome to donate whatever you feel like. 50% will go back to people like you who share similar dreams. As the old Chinese Proverbs states; “Tell me and I'll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I'll understand.” Just get involved, you will understand!

11. Is it legal to take donations?

Absolutely! What isn't legal is if you lie to the donor about your intentions of the donations.

12. I have my music/art listed on other sites, why should I sign up for yours?

Simple. Why wouldn't you want to list your music or art on another site? The more sites you have your music/art listed on, the more successful you will become. Not to mention we have the lowest listing fees for digital music and for everything else CD's, merchandise, art, clothing, etc. we don't charge any fees or commissions!

13. How can I submit a 30 second clip of my song?

Just go to Audacity download the free audio editor and create a 30 second clip! You adjust the clip wherever you want in the song.

14. I'm a blogger can I sell my services as a freelance blogger?

Absolutely! Zigned is the perfect place for blogging since there are so many things to choose from such as fashion, modeling, music, art, independent designers. You can set this up by going into My Account, then to the Z-Store Panel and Sell New Item! There is a section for your Services! You can have a flat rate with a Buy Now option or users/indie companies can Bid on your services.
